The MaryFran Sowers Memorial Symposium 2022: Honoring the career of Dr. Siobán Harlow

Thursday May 12, 2022 Keynote: “Women’s Lives, Women’s Health Across the Lifespan” with Nancy Fugate Woods, PhD, RN, FAAN (Dean & Professor Emerita, Univ. of Washington School of Nursing; Co-Director, de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging)
Since the late 1970s, Dr. Woods has led a sustained program of research in the field of women’s health. Her collaborative research has resulted in an improved understanding of women’s transition to menopause, including physical and emotional factors; has advanced nursing care for mid-life women; and has provided women with a better understanding of their health. In 1989 Dr. Woods helped established the Center for Women’s Health Research at the University of Washington.
